Carbon fiber
Bambu Lab PETG-CF
Manufactured by Bambu Lab
What it is for
PETG-CF is a carbon-fiber-filled PETG aimed at functional parts, drone components and racing models. Bambu describes a textured surface that retains some PETG shine, with a formulation intended to reduce clumping and nozzle buildup during printing.
Printing requirements
Bambu recommends 240 to 270°C at the nozzle and a 65 to 75°C bed with adhesive. Use a hardened steel nozzle and avoid the 0.2 mm size. Stainless steel is not recommended. Dry at 65°C for eight hours for the manufacturer’s intended print quality. AMS is compatible; AMS lite is not.
Choosing this material
A carbon-fiber finish is different from translucent PETG. Check the color and surface reference before choosing a spool for visible parts.
Compare Bambu Lab PETG HF for another option. This reference uses manufacturer documentation; it has no hands-on rating.
