Translucent
Bambu Lab PETG Translucent
Manufactured by Bambu Lab
What it is for
PETG Translucent is for objects where light transmission is part of the design. Wall thickness and print settings change its appearance, so a HEX swatch cannot predict the transparency of a finished lampshade, container or decorative model.
Printing requirements
Bambu recommends 230 to 260°C at the nozzle and a 65 to 75°C bed with adhesive. Bambu lists compatibility with both AMS and AMS lite. Dry at 65°C for eight hours and use the product’s PETG Translucent profile. The recommended bed range is higher than the PLA ranges shown elsewhere in this catalog.
Choosing this material
Choose the wall construction before judging a color. A thin test print is more informative than a solid screen-color rectangle.
