Bambu Lab PLA Silk+

What it is for

PLA Silk+ is Bambu’s glossy PLA for display models and decorative parts. It prints with a silk-like reflection that a flat HEX swatch cannot show. The manufacturer recommends controlling outer-wall speed when a consistent gloss is the priority.

Printing requirements

Bambu recommends 210 to 240°C at the nozzle and a 35 to 45°C bed with adhesive. Both AMS and AMS lite are compatible. Dry at 55°C for eight hours. Bambu recommends an outer-wall speed of 50 mm/s for gloss, even though its general printing-speed limit is higher. A concentric top-surface pattern is another manufacturer suggestion.

Compare a small print under the lighting where the finished model will be displayed. Color and gloss are separate choices.
