Wood
Bambu Lab PLA Wood
Manufactured by Bambu Lab
What it is for
PLA Wood combines PLA with fine wood powder for a matte, slightly grainy surface. It suits decorative models where the texture matters as much as the color. Bambu notes that the wood content increases moisture absorption compared with regular PLA.
Printing requirements
Bambu recommends 190 to 240°C at the nozzle and a 35 to 45°C bed with adhesive. Dry at 55°C for eight hours and keep the filament dry after use. AMS and AMS lite are compatible. A 0.2 mm nozzle is incompatible. Use the product-specific profile rather than assuming that a wood-filled material behaves exactly like plain PLA.
Choosing this material
Color names describe the intended wood tone. The grainy finish and lighting cannot be represented accurately by a single HEX value.
