Carbon fiber
Bambu Lab PA6-CF
Manufactured by Bambu Lab
What it is for
PA6-CF is carbon-fiber-reinforced nylon for fixtures, clamps and other engineering parts. Bambu reports its stiffness and strength in the dry state and notes that moisture changes the behavior of printed parts. Those conditions matter when comparing published test figures.
Printing requirements
Bambu recommends 260 to 290°C at the nozzle and a 80 to 100°C bed with adhesive. Use an enclosed printer and a hardened steel nozzle. Bambu recommends 0.6 mm and excludes 0.2 mm nozzles. Neither AMS nor AMS lite is supported. The drying table specifies 80°C for eight to twelve hours; keep the filament dry during printing.
Choosing this material
Match the datasheet’s moisture and test conditions to the application before relying on its mechanical figures.
