REVIEW NOTES

What it is for

Bambu PC is polycarbonate for engineering parts that need impact resistance and heat tolerance. It is a different material from the PLA and PETG used for routine display prints. The high bed-temperature requirement is an early compatibility check for a printer.

Printing requirements

Bambu recommends 250 to 270°C at the nozzle and a 90 to 110°C bed with adhesive. Bambu requires an enclosed printer and recommends drying at 80°C for eight hours. AMS is supported; AMS lite is not. Use the recommended PEI plate and adhesive rather than assuming a low-temperature PLA plate is suitable.

Choosing this material

Read the current product datasheet before specifying PC for a heat-exposed component. Printed geometry and loading affect service behavior.

Compare Bambu Lab PC FR for another option. This reference uses manufacturer documentation; it has no hands-on rating.
