Carbon fiber
Bambu Lab PET-CF
Manufactured by Bambu Lab
What it is for
PET-CF combines PET with carbon fiber for rigid, heat-exposed engineering parts. Bambu highlights lower moisture absorption than its nylon alternatives. It describes applications involving load-bearing structures and humid conditions, with mechanical figures supplied in the product datasheet.
Printing requirements
Bambu recommends 260 to 290°C at the nozzle and a 80 to 100°C bed with adhesive. Use a hardened steel nozzle; Bambu recommends 0.6 mm. Avoid stainless steel and 0.2 mm nozzles. Neither AMS nor AMS lite is supported. Dry at 80°C for eight to twelve hours and store the filament with desiccant.
Choosing this material
The PET-CF product page gives its own settings. Do not substitute a PETG profile because both names begin with PET.
