Bambu Lab PLA Metal

What it is for

PLA Metal produces a metallic-looking surface without actual metal fillers. It is a decorative PLA choice for models where appearance matters; the product name does not imply metal strength, electrical conductivity or machinability.

Printing requirements

Bambu recommends 190 to 230°C at the nozzle and a 35 to 45°C bed with adhesive. Bambu lists compatibility with AMS and AMS lite and allows all nozzle sizes and materials in its accessory table. Drying guidance is 55°C for eight hours. Use the PLA Metal profile and a compatible plate with the specified adhesive.

Choosing this material

Screen swatches represent base colors. Reflections and lighting make metallic finishes difficult to choose from HEX alone.
