Carbon fiber
Bambu Lab PPA-CF
Manufactured by Bambu Lab
What it is for
PPA-CF is carbon-fiber-reinforced nylon for engineering prototypes and mechanical components. Bambu describes stable performance in humid and hot conditions. Its processing requirements are demanding enough that printer and dryer capabilities should be checked before ordering.
Printing requirements
Bambu recommends 280 to 310°C at the nozzle and a 100 to 120°C bed with adhesive. A hardened steel nozzle is mandatory and 0.2 mm nozzles are incompatible. Neither AMS nor AMS lite is supported. Bambu lists drying at 100 to 140°C for eight to twelve hours. Use equipment rated for the manufacturer’s drying and printing temperatures.
Choosing this material
A printer accepting 1.75 mm filament is not enough to establish compatibility. Check its hotend, bed and material-handling limits.

Build a palette- Bambu Lab PPA-CF vs bambu pa6 cf : PPA-CF requires higher nozzle and bed temperatures than PA6-CF. Both need an abrasion-resistant nozzle and an external feeding path.
