Bambu Lab PVA
Manufactured by Bambu Lab
What it is for
PVA is a water-dissolvable support material for PLA and PETG prints. It can support details that would be difficult to reach with tools after printing. Bambu explicitly excludes its use for standalone models.
Printing requirements
Bambu recommends 220 to 250°C at the nozzle and a 35 to 45°C bed with adhesive. AMS and AMS lite are supported. Dry at 80°C for twelve hours and keep the spool protected from moisture during use. Choose the support material in the slicer and follow the manufacturer’s support instructions rather than using it as the model filament.
Choosing this material
A clear color reference describes the filament’s appearance; it does not make PVA a substitute for a clear structural material.
Compare Bambu Lab Support for PLA/PETG for another option. This reference uses manufacturer documentation; it has no hands-on rating.
Color references
Manufacturer-published colors. Printed appearance varies with lighting and finish.
Build a palette- Bambu Lab PVA vs bambu support for pla petg : PVA dissolves in water. Support for PLA/PETG is a breakaway interface material, so removal method and access to the supports drive the choice.
