Bambu Lab Support for PLA/PETG
Manufactured by Bambu Lab
What it is for
Support for PLA/PETG is a breakaway material for the interface between a model and its supports. It is water-insoluble, unlike PVA. Bambu recommends it for PLA and PETG and advises against printing standalone models with it.
Printing requirements
Bambu recommends 190 to 220°C at the nozzle and a 35 to 60°C bed with adhesive. Both AMS and AMS lite are compatible. Select Support for PLA/PETG for the support or raft interface in the slicer. Bambu advises against using it for the support base with tree supports. Dry at 75°C for eight hours if brittle or exposed to moisture.
Choosing this material
The material is not a universal support for ABS, nylon or PET-CF. Use the manufacturer’s material compatibility guidance.
