Bambu Lab TPU for AMS
Manufactured by Bambu Lab
What it is for
TPU for AMS is a 68D TPU formulation designed for AMS feeding. Bambu lists protective cases, phone covers and door stoppers as example uses. Its hardness is specified on the Shore D scale, so do not read 68D as a softer version of 95A.
Printing requirements
Bambu recommends 220 to 240°C at the nozzle and a 30 to 35°C bed with adhesive. Both AMS and AMS lite are compatible. A 0.2 mm nozzle is incompatible. Dry at 70°C for eight hours and keep it sealed with desiccant while printing to limit moisture-related stringing.
Choosing this material
Wall count and infill affect how flexible the printed part feels. Test the intended geometry rather than choosing by material name alone.
