Glass fiber
Bambu Lab ABS-GF
Manufactured by Bambu Lab
What it is for
ABS-GF adds glass fibers to ABS for stiffer mechanical housings and assembly parts. Bambu reports improved dimensional stability compared with its unfilled ABS. Its matte surface also makes it useful when visible layer lines would distract from a decorative part.
Printing requirements
Bambu recommends 240 to 270°C at the nozzle and a 80 to 100°C bed with adhesive. Use an enclosed printer and a hardened steel nozzle; Bambu recommends 0.6 mm. A 0.2 mm nozzle is incompatible. The product supports AMS feeding, but not AMS lite. Dry at 80°C for eight hours before printing and provide ventilation.
Choosing this material
Bambu lists Green and Yellow as discontinued. Their swatches remain historical color references and have no buying buttons.
