Print Settings That Work
225 °C nozzle, 50 °C bed, and slow. Wall speeds of 25-30 mm/s look right; push past 40 and you start seeing gaps where the extruder could not keep up. eSUN’s own printer profiles cluster tightly around 220-225 °C, which is a good sign that the material is not fussy about the exact number.
Dry at 55 °C for four hours or more before printing. This is the difference between clean matte walls and a part covered in tiny craters.
Set retraction to 0.5-1 mm on direct drive, disable any aggressive filament-loading moves, and make sure the path from spool to extruder has nothing for the soft filament to buckle against.
Print Quality
Layer bonding is superb, as it is with most TPU: finished parts stretch and tear rather than splitting along layers. Bed adhesion is strong on both smooth and textured PEI without any adhesive.
Surface finish is matte with a soft feel and even colour. Dimensional accuracy is acceptable rather than good; soft materials squash slightly under the nozzle and holes come out a touch undersized, so oversize press-fit features by 0.2 mm.
Stringing is present because retraction has to stay low, and it is a little worse than with premium TPU. A quick pass with a heat gun cleans up a printed part in seconds.
Where It Falls Short
Diameter varies more than premium flexible filament, and with TPU that shows up as inconsistent extrusion pressure on long prints. Moisture sensitivity is high, and eSUN spools often arrive already needing a dry cycle.
Print speed is the real cost. A large flexible part is an all-day job, and there is no high-flow version of this spool to fix that.
Verdict
Buy eSUN eTPU-95A as a first flexible filament, or as the workhorse for occasional gaskets and bumpers. Move to PolyFlex when you want more consistency, or to a high-flow TPU when a slow print becomes the problem.

What temperature should I print eSUN eTPU-95A at?
eSUN's recommended processing range is 220-250 °C with a 45-60 °C bed. 225 °C at 25-30 mm/s is a dependable starting point; the printer-specific profiles eSUN publishes cluster around 220-225 °C.
Do I need to dry eSUN TPU?
eSUN recommends 55 °C for at least 4 hours, and in a humid room you will want to do it before every session. Wet TPU crackles in the hotend and prints rough, weak walls.
Will eSUN TPU work on a Bowden printer?
At 95A it is stiff enough to try. Keep the tube short and well constrained, slow to about 20 mm/s, and reduce retraction to a millimetre or less. A direct drive extruder is still much easier.
